Love, love, love this post.
I love old booksx
Go on you know you need a woolly swimsuit ;)
I have the London book too - imagine it just being London airport!! and the donkey rides bit is just so funny.
Dear Elegance, I am so thrilled to be tagged, thank you! I suspect I would get loud complaints about ichty pichtyness of wool pants though. I love your haul of vintage books, fascinating. My mother remembers wool swimsuits, apparently fine until they got wet, when they sagged horribly! The barrowcoat has interesting possibilities - could be adapted into straitjacket for Boys 1 and 2 or even for their mother?? I love Timothy's daddy explaining satellites. And such innocent times - a sandpit, woo hoo! And I love the old ladybird books, I still have some of mine from my childhood, wish I had them all. Bx
Gorgeous spread!
Thanks Ladies for your comments.
Jenni - old books are 'it' for me - I often blog about my finds so maybe see you here again?
Vicki - how did you guess? I'm itching to get into a woolly costume - just right for British summers.
Blighty - suddenly the true purpose of the barrowcoat is revealed, how clever of you.
MMM-C - my pleasure, do come visit again.
