Visiting Christchurch Harbour Hotel
Out on the sunny terrace for afternoon tea
Listening to the jazz singer
The posh Jetty Restaurant below on the ...er...jetty
We took ourselves down there for a sunny seat
and looked out across the mudflats of Mudeford
I let my feet feel the sea breeze and the blazing sun
( that nail varnish looks bit chippy though!)
Mr EM wishes he'd brought his telescope
slippy on the slip way - thank goodness it's low tide
Bright sun but evening shadows falling
so a gentle walk back to the Terrace, because...
It's Pimm's O'Clock!

Looks like a great day out. Just one question, Elegance: Which one is you? The one with the two sticks, the one drinking the Pimms with the one with two sticks, or the one who inadvisedly tucks his shirt into the top of his already elasticated Chinos?
ReplyDelete'Tom' - Mr EM requests I inform you that you are now scheduled for a seriously good kicking.
ReplyDeleteI'll see if I can fit him in - I have many other old farts with no sense of dress decorum and bad taste in hats to kick, but I will put him at the front of the queue if he is in a hurry.
ReplyDeleteHello Ms E-M's Mum! I do like your dress.
ReplyDeleteMr E-M is ever elegantly statuesque. He reminds me a bit of Roald Dahl ... so tall.
Gosh, you girls are thirsty, aren't you
What are your thoughts on Tim Wonnacott?
Anyway, with moccasins like that, he couldn't kick the skin off his Skinny Latte.
ReplyDeleteYou all always look so chic! Perfect for such sunny weather and a spot of Pimms.
ReplyDeleteHi my dear!! Those photos are fabulous, sounds like a glorious day out and to finish with Pimms is just perfection xxx
ReplyDeleteOoooh, Pimms O'Clock, the best part of the day.
ReplyDeleteWhat an elegant group you are. x
Hope there was a nice cool drink waiting for you when you got back last night! xx
ReplyDeletelove the pims photo!
