Such a beautiful sunny day for your birthday after all the snowfall. I miss you so much my lovely mother.
Looking through old photos I found this one and I am amazed to realise that you were 74 when it was taken in Gray's Inn on the day of my Call to the Bar as a mature graduate. You were always so elegant even during your later days when struggling with the bewildering effects of the illness that finally overwhelmed you and us.
