OK this is the empty bottle but too tall for my kitchen cupboard shelf.
A few minutes earlier the contents were decanted carefully into a shorter bottle by Mr EM.
He then prepared to cook supper - Chinese Lemon Pork - and grasped the slippery neck of said shorter bottle and successfully added two tablespoons to the wok to start cooking. As he put down the bottle the greasy sides slipped out of his hand and smashed onto the kitchen floor.
An agonised cry brought me to the scene - and looking at the 75mls of spreading oil I confidently shouted "newspaper!" Newspaper - that wonderfully absorbent medium that has been used for donkey's years in an emergency as first resort to mop up mess and spills on floors.
Ha bloody ha. Who buys newspapers these days? I blame the interweb.
BTW the lemon pork was delicious.
